Product Description

Psyllium husks for dogs and cats are derived from the outer shell of the psyllium seed and contain many soluble fibers and mucilage. These can have a prebiotic effect in the intestine and support a healthy intestinal flora. Due to their strong swelling capacity, psyllium husks can bind excess fluid, thus helping with diarrhea, while also promoting bowel movement in cases of constipation. They should always be soaked in water before feeding.

Preparation

To prepare 100 g of fresh sweet potato, approximately 25 g of dry semolina and 75 g of hot water are needed. Pour hot water over it and let it swell for 15-30 minutes. Then mix it with meat or wet food.

Feeding Recommendation

Feed up to 1 g of psyllium husks per 5 kg of body weight daily, gradually introducing the daily amount.
